Walking by these magnificent towers for over 20 years and recently researching their history inspired me to create an illustrated collection featuring coastal watchtowers and fortifications found all over the Maltese Islands.

The first series will be one of many screen-prints by ‘Island of Print’, featuring the 5 still standing coastal towers built by the Knights of St John found on Gozo and Comino, from dusk till the night sky.
